Problem Accessing Apps.

Can't download any apps on Google Play App.  just see current apps and that's it . Frozen and can't download anything  . Also the Sony Select App - can't do anything ! 

Tried going in to "Settings" but no " status and diagnostics " tab  to check updates or do anything there either ....!   Tried pulling power  plug for 2 minutes but that doesn't work . Re booted router and getting good wi fi and no probs getting You Tube , Amazon Prime etc. .

Appreciate some help here  Thnx

Press the Home button on the remote, with the arrow keys go up to the top and select Apps, then Open the Google Play Store. Then using the arrow keys again select your Account Avatar (Top Right) Then Manage apps and games, then Updates. Check to make sure all apps are up to date. See if that fixes the problem. If not....

 

You can either clear the Cache of each of the Apps that don't work properly by going into settings/apps/

 

Or you can try Resetting the TV by holding down the Power Button on the Remote until it displays Restart, then choose Restart.

 

Or if neither of those work just do a Factory Reset.

Great can you mark is a problem solved for the benefit of other members and leave some Kudos. You just have to remember that the Android part of the TVs is just a big Mobile Phone so the problems and Solutions are the same as Android Phones. Indeed you can turn on Developer Options on the TV. The Restart (long power button press) force stops all the Apps and Clears the Caches making them freshly start on reboot.
