So I brought my TV last week, an XR-50X94J and I'm very happy with it until today I looked closer at a mark on the screen, I initially thought it was part or what I was viewing on the screen at the time.
It turns out that this is a hair within the screen itself and can be quite obvious depending what is being viewed as this shows up dark black. Not trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill, I'd assume this kind of issue would be checked before leaving the factory but maybe not.
Not a lot us on a Sony users forum can do for you.
If it is only 7 days since you bought the TV, take it back to the reseller and
politely request a replacement or a full refund.
