Sony Bravia 4 k tv - led light flashes 6 times

Hi all
I have a Sony Bravia 4 k tv that cost a lot of money and is just out of warranty surprising ?
Once i turn it on - the Light flashes 6 times - then turns off - no picture. - tried unplugging , holding the buttons in but did not work . Can you tell me what is the issue ?
The Tv details are as follows Sony Bravia tv - 55 inch 4k

KD 55X8509C

S/N 6811309

P/N 18706601

Any help would be great

Only a technician can diagnose the fault, but probably the 6 flash code means the panel has gone on your 6 years old tv.

@royabrown2  you are right! BTW I'm also amused to see how smart are the tv that can recognize if an extended warranty is in place or not and get faulty accordingly after 1, 2 or 5 years...
