Sony Bravia KD-49XH8096 will not play ITV1 on ITV hub

When I sign into ITV hub app I cannot view any ITV1 programmes, it keeps telling me to put my postcode in which I do but it won’t save it. I’ve reset the ITV hub, re-paired it with my phone but still no good, any ideas? Thanks in advance

Someone mentioned on a different thread (can't find the link right now) that they called up ITV and they advised using an aerial for ITV1.
