Sony HDMi Problem

HDMI input is Intermittent, it pops up when I switch hdmi inputs then screen goes black and it appears again then displays hdmi information. It’s like plugging in a hdmi source and it displaying what you plugged in but it happens twice in quick succession.

If I am understanding you correctly, the Info Banner is appearing unexpectedly. There is a quick and easy work-a-round as you have an Android TV. No solution for Linux TVs. Have a look at Channel setup in Settings and disable the Info banner.
