SONY KD-55AF8 screen issues
Hi,
We have some issues with something that has appeared all around the outside edge of the screen, looks like mould, but can't be that.
See picture , anyone any idea what can be done ?

All I can see from your image is what might be referred to as stuck pixels, is this what you are referring to.
If it is have tried doing a Pixel Refresh if your TV has that in the Settings menus of your TV.

If your TV does have the Pixel Refresh setting be mindful that it can take a few hours to perform.
So best to start it before going out for several hours or overnight.

The Setting you require is under the Expert Panel Settings and is actually called Panel Refresh (not Pixel Refresh as I have written).
Here is a link to the online manual page for your TV which discusses Panel Refresh, how often you should run it and how long it takes.

I tried the Panel Refresh and if it has not long finished, it said could take up to an hour, unfortunately no difference, can still see the issue.

Hi @SatoruGojo ,
None of the images in the link match the issue we have.
I have contacted Sony support on FB Messenger, but it is a slow process, they said on Friday, someone will look at the images I sent them, and they will get back to me within 2 working days, so assume some time tomorrow, or Weds.
One of the images I sent them, seemed to show a yellow line all the way round the screen, along with the original
