Sony X900F Google Play Error

I have a 65 inch Sony X900F.  When I am in the Google Play Store and try to purchase a movie to watch I get the following error.  DF-DFERH-01.  I have tried going online to find a fix for this but all of the solutions deal with phones or tablet.  I have cleared the app cache.  I have disabled it, enabled it.  I deleted my account, added my account, reinstalled the app.  deleted the updates to the app, reinstalled the updates for the apps.  Everything I try has not worked.

Oddly enough I can play movies that I have purchased in the past and are in My Library.  I just can't play movies that I have to purchase.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you get the same error if you try on another device such as PC or Phone? That would help confirm if its just the TV or your Google account?

If you've confirmed it's just the TV did you clear both the play store app and play services?

And a long shot - does Google still have access to location on the TV and is use wifi for location allowed?  Sometimes Google things don't work if it doesn't have location data

I've noticed this too on the XH9505. Not sure if it's always been there from the minute I set everything up or not?

Cleared the app store cache and Services Framework cache. Still doing it.

Apps still seem to update and work fine, it's just everything that sits underneath the screenshots that don't seem to load?

Can you go to the system apps and delete the updates? Also, sing out and sign in again, try a different account, hope it helps.

I'm not deleting updates to core Android Apps. Besides, you can't delete updates, only uninstall updates and roll back to factory, and they'll just update in the background again.

Edit: Cleared Cache again, forced stopped. Same thing. Cleared play store data, force stopped, let it settle. Same thing.

It's probably a server side issue or app version issue. Nothing else has changed. Apps still seem to update and download, so I guess it's nothing to worry about!?

Hi Jbennett360, try force restarting your TV. Also, what's the current software version?

Restarted the TV several times.

Software is the latest version for the Xh9505 series
