Speaker vibrations from sony KE48A9

Hi, has anyone had issues regarding vibrations from this tv when certain frequencies dialogue are emitted ? I 've checked the bass in the equalizer and its set at 0. Only had the tv a day ! Thanks

Hi.

I've not reached out to them yet regarding this.

I contacted Sony support but didn't get much help. They told me to turn the tv off, unplug the cables turn the tv on again and connect to the tv's internal wifi. I then tested the sound but to be honest i wasn't holding out much hope. There didn't seem to be an issue (but then you need a longer period of time to assess the sound quality when talking to a customer service rep). The agent was satisfied we had solved the problem and it was merely a glitch, so I turned the Tv's wifi off and reconnected my cables. Checked it out last night and the problem was even worse. I've requested a replacement and I'm keeping my fingers crossed the same issue won't apply.

It must have been a fault with the either the speaker casing or the speaker itself I think, as the replacement tv is fine

I have just received my TV back from DBS, who handle repairs for John Lewis.  They literally took the tv apart, taped down a lot of loose wiring and then securely screwed the whole thing back together.  The sound vibrations at certain frequencies are no longer there. My guess is that some of the loose wires would resonate against the metal backplate.  As these are now taped, they don't vibrate.

I'm inclined to assume the same thing.

Glad to hear it's finally resolved for you and thanks for sharing the update!

It's extremely helpful since now others with the same issue can have some reference as to what may have caused this and a possible solution as well thanks to you ^^
