TV wont start up

I have a sony bravia KDL-65W850C TV. I've turned it on and the sony symbol displays for a split second, then the front LED flashes red six times. Unplugging power and restarting i still get same problem

Don't really know where to look for help so any is appreciated.

Hi @cooperman1984. I hope you bought it with a 5 year warranty. A quick google will take you to an expensive repair bill if you did not. If you go that route then you should contact your retailer or the Sony Support centre for your country or region. Perhaps time for a 4K HDR.

Thanks for the reply. It has no warranty left and it's not insured unfortunately, so i guess my only option is to get it repaired. I would be gutted chucking it away. I've already sent a message to support, just waiting for a reply. Just wanted to see if anyone had come across the same problem.

How expensive are you talking? I'ts a bad time of year for big bills.

Hi @cooperman1984. Sorry I have no idea of the cost. It is probably best to telephone during opening hours to get an idea and an estimate of the time it will take.
