The TV channel info bar on top of the screen will not disappear after changing the channel. It just sits there all the time. No effect if I set the Info-bar off in the settings. Reboot helps but only for a while. This happens daily. Sony fix your products, this is getting ridiculous.

This problem is now completely gone after the HDD issue was fixed.

@liripiri instead of stating that it is "ridiculous" and open new issue why you don't close the others when you get answers? and for this there is no way the tv will show the info bar if disabled unless you press the info button: post a video in which you show the setting and the effect on tv .
The info bar not only won’t go away, it also will not update the current program info. It shows something that was shown earlier. Seems to be kind of stuck. Also after the tv has been running for a few hours after last reboot, it seems to be getting slower and slower until all these problems start to show. I think there is some service, probably the HDD service or recording service or something related that is eating up the memory and or cpu time so that gradually the system is out of juice and only thing that helps is a reboot. Typical symptom for any computer system...
Probably you are right the two things are connected and you can check it out detaching the hdd
