Hi,
I just received few updates for my C3 Dual but do not know what's new in those updates. Is there any where I can read the descriptions/enhancements of each update before I decide to upgrate the softwares?
I do not like the app "What's new" and its shortcut when swipe up the home button. How do I disable this app? And how do I remove or change the shortcut (e.g. to other apps)?
Finally, please let me know where I can give suggestions for future software update of the phone. Thank you.
Best,
AC

You can block what's new like this:
1.Install ADB
2.Run ADB shell from Windows cmd
3.Write pm block com.sonymobile.advancedwidget.entrance (to reset it just replace block with unblock)
4.That's it (in some cases you might need to restart)
Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
I'm afraid changelogs are not available for all updates. When information is available you will find it on this page: http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/software/phones/xperia-c3-dual/
It's not possible to hide apps with our standard launcher but it is possible to hide apps using some 3:rd party launchers like Nova Launcher. As What's New can't be uninstalled/disabled you will still have it when you swipe up on home though.
If you have any issues you can post here or contact your local Sony Xperia support.
Thank you Rickard. One more issue. I do not find an option to restart the phone on power menu (after long pressing the power button) and have to manually turn off then turn on the phone. Do you know any way to fix this?
I don't know of any way to add a restart function. You need to turn it off and back on again.

Thank you very much. I will try this soon.
