Normally I'm an I.T. Techie, but occasionally other 'gear' gets thrown at me, with a muttered 'it's bust'.
One of our Departments bought an HDR CX570E about 6 months back, but has been waiting to go live
before actually using the camcorder. Staff have complained that the focus is 'very poor'. Items in the middle of
the display are crisp and clear, but stuff at the edge of the screen is very blurred/fuzzy.
It's almost like autofocus is off (it isn't), or not working well.
I've had a good look through the manual, of course, and tried various settings... digital zoom etc, focus blah blah.
However, nothing seems to change the problem.
Whilst at it, I looked up how to hard reset the camcorder back to factory defaults, in case the user had
been twiddling. The location of the reset button, in the supplied manual, doesn't exist, on the supplied
camera. Eventually found it, on the other side of the cam...
Any opinions or solid help would be appreciated.
