I realise this is early days but.....
It could either be implemented via the (at present) limited iPhone/Android app. to extend the functionality of the wireless connection app to include:
1/ Timelapse/intervalometer
2/ One Touch Focus Points (and/or Manual focus) via iPhone/Android app
Canon have been able to do this since 2007 with their WTFE4 wireless transmitters and related software, you don't want to left behind do you Sony?
And/Or a hardware version using:-
1/USB Remote with included Intervalometer
2/Hotshoe Intervalometer?
At the moment I am making a DIY bracket to be able to use my Lee Filters for my old Canon equipment (which was stolen) and lenses. Please don't fail me Sony I'm new to you and have high hopes.
