Hi folks
Does anyone know if it is possible to transfer books from Reader for PC or my ereader to my iPad?

As carpetmojo says, Calibre is the only way I've found this to work for iDevices, convert to ePub format then copy to iTunes library them sync in the normal way!

The only way I can think might be possible is via Calibre - but you would certainly have to have the book on there first anyway.
I'M not sure whether Caibre recognises iPad, I'd think probably ...

First, Sony has a reader app for Android tablets. You need to check and see if they also do one for Apple products, presumably available on the Apple app store.
If not then you need to find an epub reader app that supports Adobe Digital Editions. You'd then need to transfer the books to the ipad but not using the Reader for PC (or Mac) software. Bluefire Reader is one example but there will be others
