Anyone out there actually connected to Klout ? A bit more info' would be appreciated - somebody from the Community Team could enlighten please ?

Hi there

Klout is designed to score your social media presence by combining various social media forums - similar to badges but across many other sites.  Klout is the 'middle man' as such.

Klout is a service that uses social media analytics to rank you according to your online social influence via the "Klout Score”. It uses Bing, Facebook, Foursquare, Google+, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and Wikipedia data to create your Klout user profiles.

Thus permitted users can easily see where your experiences are.

Having this information we’re able to credit you for activities that have been done outside of our community as well – e.g. sharing blogs, etc.

Using Klout you can…
… show of your knowledge and expertise
… how to rank against others
… unlock an upgraded profile

So why don’t give it a try – enable Klout in your profile!

You never know these days what you could be signing up for. Interestingly the invite in my profile has mysteriously disavanished !! I'm sure it could'nt have been a hack to the Sony website unlike our friends TalkTalk.
