Hello everyone, I am ready to finally get a new Bravia; I understand that they come with Youview already installed: At the moment I have a Youview box for recording. Do I need to connect the box to the internet to be able to record or would it be sufficient to connect the box to the TV. Thanks.

Hi,
I haven't bought the TV yet, that's why I am trying to find out about the chance to connect the box to it. To be more specific my request is the following:
If I connect the Youview box to the TV, do I need to use the box itself to access the programs and apps? I would like to think that I just need to keep the box connected to the TV and on standby, so I can record programs on it. The TV itself should be able to access internet through the WiFi, so I imagine there is no need to use the box remote control to access the programs, recordings and apps, such Netflix etc etc. I hope I haven't been too complicated in explaining my request; thanks in advance for any reply.
