How to transform Sony HT-XT3 soundbar into a 5.1 audio system?

Since Sony HT-XT3 soundbar does not support Wireless Soround, is there another way of connecting 2 more speakers that would transform it into a 5.1 system?

Probably, the Wireless Soround technology would be the best solution, but so far Sony has not announced anything like this for the XT3 (the XT2 supports this new technology). Are there any news about a future update?

Hi there

Unfortunately Sony is not forthcoming in communicating their future intentions or 'roadmap' until it is actually done.  As you know, the HT-XT3 is currently not compatible with wireless rear speakers, and do not know if it ever will be.
