HT-CT80 sound turns off after 2 seconds

I don't know if is it issue but it's annoying. For example, when I'm watching movie and there is 2 seconds silence, speaker "turns off" and it "turns on" again when some sound occurs. But it's cutted out on first seconds, so I miss the first words of speech. This only happens with bluetooth connection and on every device I tried (smartphone, tablet, notebook).

Is it problem or is it common on every soundbar connected via bluetooth?

EDIT: The more loudly the source device is set, the less "muted" periods on soundbar is. But setting volume to max on source device is not enough to completely override this problem.

Hi there

I dont think that is normal to be honest.  There is an "Auto Standby" function on the soundbar, but it should only activate when there is no signal for 15 minutes.  See if there is a setting to switch this auto standby off.  I cant tell you where it is, as it doesnt say in the manual as far as I can see.

Also, a long shot, but change the wireless channel on your router, as wifi can interfer with Bluetooth signal.
