BBC iplayer not working after update.

I have updated the software on my Sony Blue-Ray player. BBC iplayer will not now work and the machine crashes. 5 on demand utube etc. are fine. Is it possible to go back to the previous software?

Same thing happened to me when I choose to update this application. Is there a way to downgrade it?
