Sony rdr-hxd870 cd problems

Hi

My Sony rdr-hxd870 HDD recorder has suddenly stopped playing audio CDs I tried to clean it but it didn't play the cleaner either on the display it says can't use,and on the tv screen it says incompatible or unreadable disc this happened literally over night I was listening to the cd at night and the next morning it wouldn't play.DVDs and DVD-r and DVD-r play and record it just doesn't recognize audio CDs or the DVD/cd cleaner anymore does anyone know what I can do to fix it I already tried factory reset

I think pretty much you've done everything a user could. I hope this is still under warranty.

As is often the case its out of guarantee,by about a year now
