Hello,
I have a BDV-F500 set.
I use it to stream audio from my Win7 laptop.
This works very nice but i'm looking for a way to shuffle the music.
Is there a way to shuffle the streamed audio?

Hi, when using streaming there is no control over the server directly so you cant control the order it plays, it may be best to consider USB over DLNA
Hi, first of all thanks for the reply.
I think it should be able to shuffle using DLAN streaming.
My XBOX 360 can play the streaming music in shuffle mode and if i'm not mistaken the PS3 can do so also.
And i think that parts of the software in de bdv-f500 is the same as in the PS3 so thats why i don't understand the shuffle option isn't available in the bdv-f500
An update with my latest findings about streaming music with shuffle.
I have both the BDV-F500 and a 40E5500 LCD-TV.
Both are connected to my network and both can stream movies and music from my Qnap-NAS.
However, when streaming music using my TV there are multiple options i can choose like repeat songs/album and also to shuffle the music. On the BDV-F500 i can only choose between "Stop" and "Start from beginning".
One could ask why not stream the music using the TV then? Well, i don't want to turn on both TV and BDV-F500 every time i want to listen to music. Using the AudioRemote app on my iPhone (which is an awesome app by the way) i can tell the BDV-F500 what music to play so there's no need to turn on the TV.
Any insight on the issue would be very much appreciated!
Kind regards.
