BDVE 280 Wont play triple layer blu ray discs?

BDVE280 wont play triple layer Blu ray disc, l have the most up to date firmware, any suggestions? All other discs are fine.

HI, it is almost certainly because this drive does not support triple layer discs. I think this drive was released as the standard for these discs was being released, so I doubt the hardware can cope with them.

drhowells is mostly right, the movie industry is unlikely to use triple layer discs and there are no players currenly available to support this, triple layer discs are for storage more than anything else.
