cannot connect ipod video files through telly

Got a KDL40EX523 telly with BDV EF200 player with ipod connection.,  When playing video files on ipod cannot view as asking to place video out to video in but cannot find video in on the back of the telly, can anyone help?

i had same issue on my Toshiba Tv with the ef200.

only way I got it going was to plug a scart with the three RCa connectors on the back into the TV scart, and then the audio lead from the ipod stand into the yellow channel
