Should there be a quality loss when dubbing from HDD to DVD?
Using a RDR HXS560 I'm dubbing from the HDD to a DVD. Original recording is at HSP and I'm fast dubbing at the same quality. Yet the picture is far worse on the DVD. Softer, especially around small outlines.

It shouldn't but I have the same feeling (i.e. there is far more pixellation in fast moving scene), probably it depends on the internal format managed by standard DVD.
Yes, I see the same, more pixellation on movement. I guess the only way to keep the quality is to transfer to a PC.
