HELP > Old Sony DVD Player to Play in Samsung...........

Hi,

I'm trying to use my old sony DVD player in my SAMSUNG UE32F5000AK with a scart cable but it wont recognise it 😞

The back of the Sony DVD player looks as following pic.

Do I need to use any other type of cable ?

Hi there

Instead of using SCART.  Try using component cables (RCA) instead.  They are Yellow, Red, White :

Hi there

Something like : www.amazon.co.uk/World-Data®-Triple-Premium-Quality/dp/B0039OIY66/  would probably work just fine, for £3.  Just make sure that you have enough length, if not try a 3m or 5m one.
