iPOD Shuffle on BDV E880

I have a Sony BDV E880 home cinema system with the iPOD docking system, my quetion is: How, if possible do you set the ipod to shuffle the tracks when connecyed to the docking system. I am using both a 3rd and 5th generation ipod nano's. any ideas as at present all it does is play tracks in alphabetical order.

i guess you can adjust from 0 ms to 300 ms in 25 ms increments
