Unfortunately, the S185 was released in August 2011 and is not compatible with Netflix in Europe.

There has been some confusion as this is a current player.
Sadly, it seems that only the 2012 models support Netflix - BDP-S390, BDP-S490, BDP-S590, BDP-S790.

@Blencogo are you sure it has sth. to do with the player rather then with its geo location? I believe that even if you buy a S790 you wouldn't have Netflix support in Europe.

Yes, I am sure Netflix is supported in the UK by the 2012 models listed above.
Older models were not compatible with Netflix in Europe but were OK in the USA. The 2012 models listed have a hardware update that now supports the Netflix European DRM.

So I guess that also means that the SMP-N200 doesn't have a compatible Hardware chip either?
