Hi,
I recently purchased a Sony Bravia HDX46 853 with the blu-ray player included (BDP-S490) and I want to connect it to my existingHT-SF1100 5.1 surround speaker system. I used HDMI cables, but I don't get any sound coming through at all.
I connected a Panasonic HDD recorder and used an optical cable for this and it worked, but the HDMI cable on its own also did not work.
Can someone please advise?
