I have two issues with my BBC Iplayer app on my Sony S380 Blu ray player;
1) During fast forwarding a programme the progress bar would intermittently disappear making it hard to gauge the progress.
2) In the last two days I have noticed that the BBC iplayer app now has ceased working, where it was functioning perfectly before.
I have rebooted the s380, rebooted the router, the Demand 5 and Lovefilm applications function perfectly. The connection is via a generic wireless lan port adaptor. Given the fact Lovefilm and Demand 5 work fine I suspect it is a BBC iplayer issue rather than network connection issue. I have checked and have the latest firmware running.
When I go into the iplayer app and select a programme, it loads up the progress bar and either locks up the s380 (requiring a reboot) or displays the progress bar until I choose the back option to go back into the programme selection menu. This problem occurs across a number of iplayer programmes.
Any ideas or suggestions?
