Hi - I have my SVR-HDT500 connected via HDMI to my Bravia KDL-HX803. I notice that when playing certain channels (e.g. BBC1 channel 001) I get small black bars at the left and right sides (and by small I mean about 1cm). However, when I play the same channel directly via the TV it is perfectly fine.
The TV is set to Wide
The SVR is set to Full
I've tried both PillarBox and other combinations but with no success.
Why does the SVR add the bars when the TV does not? Surely it is the same signal?
