Streaming apps not sending signal to Subwoofer

I have a Sony 55FX90 Tv connected to a STR DN 1080 - Recently I upgraded my front L/R speakers. (Have done audio setup its currently a 3.1 setup) Streaming channels/apps such as Netflix, Disney etc no longer send a signal to the Subwoofer (it doesn't work) unless the AMP sound effect is set to Direct. Instead of AFD (Auto Format Decoding), Dolby surround etc as it previously was. Devices (blu-ray player, PS4 etc) connected to the AMP seem to work fine, its just the TV's Apps that seem to have the issue, the TV External Inputs  HDMI signal format is already set to Enhanced, any ideas as to why this might be happening?

Hey johnwick,

Could you make sure that the amp is updated to the latest software version and let us know if that solves it for you?

If the option was there before, it should still work. Have you tried a factory reset?
