How do you turn on Java script and why is it not turned on as standard?

You can enable JavaScript for Chrome if you go to: Chrome > Tap ... > Settings > Site settings > JavaScript > On.

If it helps: It was on by default on mine.

Go on settings, search "default" .

Go to default apps and click on opening links.

Scroll down to 'Setup Wizard' and enter. There should be a little exclamation mark, click on it. Disable the app. Make sure your preferable default browser has javascript enabled though. Yours apps should work properly now.
