Cannot register more email accounts

My gmail app works perfectly

When I enter details of other email accounts into the email app - I cannot make the "next" button work (nor the manual button)

So I downloaded another email app "k-9 mail" and i had exactly the same problem!

I've tried it with the keyboard out and in - I can highlight the buttons - but i cannot make them register any reaction.

I have been trying to register other gmail accounts.

Any ideas anyone?

The phone is brand new from 02 in the UK

And through PC connection I updated the software - although I had the same problem before and after the update

running android 2.3.4

go to settings > accounts and sync > add another account..

yur phn can b synced wid oly 1 gmail(the 1 that yu register with yur android device) account na..?? try the simple "email" app its preinstalled.. i hav 2 gmail accounts in it..!

I guess that other email app is for non-gmail accounts

i hav a gmail account in dat email app...! its fr all the email clients mate...

Then, from my experience, I would guess you do not have your phone registered to a gmail account, or, you are not using the "gmail app".

i am using the gmail app...! its sync'd wid my gmail account which i gav to it wen i switched on the phone fr the 1st time... n yes , more accounts can b added to it...! noticed it jus now...
