Running Services in Sony Ericsson Xperia

Under Applications -> Running Services  I found many services which are running more than many X days. In that screen only below I see 'Avail and Other' with values has in MB. What does that mean?:smileyconfused: There are some unwanted service which is not needed to run and consuming battery as well. If i close those service also after one or two days I see same service running. How to come out of it?

you cant close some applications , if you will they will restart..

so you cannot..

I too agree with your point but it should not be right? Any unwanted services can be closed by user ?

I talked about "'Avail and Other' with values has in MB" in above message . I see those values are getting changed under Running service screens. Example Avail 27MB+58MB in 20  Other:35MB in 3.   Two months back it was like Avail 15MB+35MB in 12  Other:23MB in 2. why I see a change in MB if same service is running each time?

yes this happens.. sometimes even you exit any application , it still takes some amount of ram which is not shown under the running services..

and yes RAM issue should be corrected.. there are many other problems with RAM...

so just restart your phone once or twice in 4-5 days , this will close all the apps and will free up RAM
