Sony media apps not updating after 12.1.A.1.205

Hi guys
I recently updated my xperia sp with the Sony update service and pc companion with the latest firmware 12.1.A.1.205.
It's really weird that I can no longer update the album,Walkman,or movies app from the update center.
It simply shows all your apps are upto date.
But before this I had the latest versions of all the apps with the tile interface.
I am unable to figure out the reason...
All other apps like jive and keyboard were updated though like they normally would.
Has anyone had a similar experience?
I am from India on a C5302.

Yea same here... got the old versions and its not updating through the update center 😕

me too..have the same problem, the media app (walkman, album, etc) don't updated after a new firmware .205

Things could be worse. If you were a UK customer with an unbranded phone you would have no firmware updates and no application updates.

Can you guys suggest as to how we can put it through Sony officials?
Its a problem that's been faced by many I guess.....

Download and install as normal application.

thx sonysp09, but after install the latest Walkman app, then requires the update for Music Unlimited, when i check for the update there isn't on update centre.. and walkman can't login with a music unlimited.... i have download from play store, but nothing, requires the update from Update centre... what is the solution???

Hey guys... FYI the camera on this model still **bleep**.. It's so bad that when I compare Xperia sp's with my old live with Walkman, the Walkman wins...

I like the older walkman app more. More convinient and quicker to select music source from icons than to fiddle with the side bar.
