Hello,
I have been experiencing a reboot issue on my Xperia V since last night's update to 4.3 Android. I have removed an update to Album, since that is the only other change. If I run PC companion repair, will all my apps be deleted? Any advice other than that?? Help, please.

I have been experiencing the involuntary reboot issue for several weeks now. I ran the initial 4.3 update from PC companion. It was having some reboots and some apps were not working properly (Skype was one). So I ran the repair function through PC companion and then reinstalled all my apps cleanly. I am still having the reboot problems. This morning, it rebooted 3 times within 30 minutes (once while on FB, once while on Twitter and the last time when playing music - nothing else running).
I have installed Clean Sweep taskmaster, that is my last resort. If anyone else has a solution here, please let me know. As I have been operating this phone for more than a year on 4.2 (without any probs!!), I don't think its hardware related.
Hi
Have a xperia T, and updated to 4.3 two weeks ago and face the same problem of rebooting.
Updated today to 9.2.A.1.199
Now it's getting worse. Rebbot occurs after 1 minute uptime!
In Flight mode it is working fine
I never had these problem since the updates.
Sony, please fix it!
I have the same problem with my Sony Xperia V.
After I updated to 9.2.A.0.295 my phone often randombly reboot itself. This is very disturbing when one very often is in the middle of an ongoing important call.
I really hope Sony takes this bug really seriusly and fixes it as quickly as possible.
As it is right now I can no longer rely on this phone so I have to use my old one.
If this isn't fixed in the near future I will be forced to use Cyangenmod or something similar but I rather use the fw that is designed for the phone.
Rebooted & shutdown frequently need bug fixes.... ASAP
I had the same problem so I sent my phone to the shop with warranty. It took them 2 weeks to fix and told me it was hardware failure. In my opinion, it was the update making the software overloading the phone and causing hardware failure? Something like overheating or whatsoever? Now I am playing safe letting my phone in previous version instead until I see newer version is updated (hopefully it will be a bug-free one).
