Amazon app for Sony Bravia KDL40WD653

Hi,

Is the amazon prime video app available for the Sony Bravia KDL40WD653? I've looked on the opera store but can't see it there and can't find anything on any forums.

Hi there

At this moment the Amazon app is currently not available for the WD6 series TV.  Sony assures me that this will be available in the future, but unfortunately I do not have an ETA of when.  Previous ETAs that i posted have come and gone 😞

A new firmware has been released and it should introduce the Amazon App.  If you have issues with updating over your network, do a manual USB update instead, see : http://www.sony.co.uk/support/en/content/cnt-dwnl/prd-tvhc/bravia-kdl-wd6-wd7-upd-v8114-DE-AT-GB/KDL...
