Faulty t-con board in KDL-32D3000

Hello

My KDL-32D3000 has a Sony faulty t-con board that is causing coloured vertical lines. It is within the same batch as hundreds on others with this issue.

How do I go about getting this fixed by Sony?

Hi,

you will need to find your nearest authorised Sony repair centre who will indeed confirm whether or not it is indeed the t-con board thats at fault.

And if it is then Sony will arrange to pay for their faulty part?

Hi again,

well im not going to be drawn into that debate!, the best you can hope for is the warranty will cover it, there are many posts on this forum of un satisfied customers and problems with Sony support. check the thread titled-

Do all screens only last 2 years?, elsewhere on this forum.
