If I customse the picture settings for SD they are wrong for HD and vice versa can there be two ?

I have just bought a KDL-40HX723 and find that if I customise the picture settings for SD they are no good for HD and vice versa. (I use a HUMAX HD PVR and half of  my viewing is in SD). The "SCENE presets are useless so I need a way of setting up two customised modes - one for each of the  two different types of transmissions. Suggestions welcome as the user guide/ i guide and web information is poor.

I think you could set one to STANDARD and the other to CUSTOM in The  picture settings - altering settings as required
