KD49x8505bbu How to sort favorites digital channel list

KD49x8505bbu:

I have created a favorites list from the Digital channels but they are all in the wrong order. I need to have BBC3 and BBC3 HD together.

I can see no way of sorting in Favorites. Is this possible?

I can see an option to Sort the Channels list but that is long winded and is reset with  a Scan.

Can anyone please help?

Hi Q

I can export the stb.xml file to USB stick, i can the edit it 

with the sony edit software no problem, but it will not import

it back to the tv.

I have tried a factory restore no problem but it will not import to the

tv it finds the file when i plug the USB stick in asks if i want to install

the new chanel list,when i say yes it says failed.

So now i have tried every which way on this i give up.

This tv will not do this, and yes i can play misic video 

from same USB stick.

Try to do the procedură after a full manual scan

Do not select any cable provider from available list

Choose " other" and performanțe full scan, export channel list, sort ghem and import.

For me was the only way .....

For my KDL-32W705C this was the only solution.

Looks like if I choose a provider, and the file, the DVB-C list is bad and can't be imported.

If you don't choose a provide you can edit that list, and you can import it.
