I have a new Sony KDL-26EX302 and thinking about doing firmware download update.My question is will firmware download update change any picture settings i have done ie colour , brightness

Hi Shane

Firmware updates usually improve the performance of the unit, and shouldn't change personal settings. Half the time you don't notice any difference anyway.
