PlayStation Video on 2016 non-Android TV

Hi,

I have a KDL-40WD653 2016 non-Android TV. I gather Sony run a movie rental service called PlayStation Video but there is no app on the TV for this.

Should it be there, or is PlayStation Video reserved for the Android models now?

From what ive seen on the upcoming apps, PS Video is not on the list for your model TV unfortunately.

Thanks. Seems strange, a movie rental app seems like a potential source of revenue for Sony.

I know there's a monthly subscription-based Netflix app,  but is there any upcoming app for one-off movie rentals do you know?

If its not on there already: Wuaki.TV

Also Amazon is planned at a later date, which does one off movie rentals too.

There's no Wuaki.TV at present, but good news that one-off movie rentals are on the way.
