Video/Audio out of sync while watching music video clips

Hi,

In my KDL-55NX810 I noticed that the video and audio are out of sync, when I 'm watching a music video clip. This happens if I watch it via cable TV, the youtube app, etc.

If I'm watching a movie or the news, I don't have this problem.

Unfortunately the lipsync feature in my receiver cannot solve this problem because I need to delay the video, and lipsync is only able to delay the audio.

Is there any scene option on the TV that might be activated when I am watching music video clips, or any other option that might be influencing this?

Thanks in advance

Hello dtphl1,

I search for you the online manual and i found a page that may help to make Sync. thru TV (the link below)

But before that you have to connect both TV and receiver by HDMI cable , the trial may success or may not because Sony stated that Sync.should be with Bravia Sync. compatible equipment

http://support.sony-europe.com/tvhc/imanual/features.aspx?site=odw_en_GB&m=KDL-55NX810&s=bravia_hdmi...

Kind regards

Hi,

Thank you for your time. Unfortunately this does not solve the question. Bravia sync is a different thing. It is just for interconnection between devices. I have this problem without having anything connected to the TV...

Kind regards

Thats right, it is for only control by remote.

I hear that some receivers firmwares can cause this problem.  or set the receiver sound to dolby digital

Best regards,

KDL-CX520,

The post is about LIP SYNC and not about BRAVIA SYNC,

two different things, this issue is quite prevailant on video clips, i believe there may be a setting  on some media players for this, but i dont care much for video clips myself.

Yes, that's true. But the problem happens even if I just have the TV connected, nothing else, and I'm listening through the TV speakers... It is really anoying because it looks like playback singing. Can' really understand how this happens in a top end TV.

I am really dissappointed once again Sony..
