Hi everyone
I have a little problem with my touchpad because I don't have a icon of touchpad on the bar close to the clock and I can't scroll anything. My question is "how to turn it on?"
Thanks everyone for answer
Hi djajo and welcome to the forum.
Assuming that you have a recent Vaio model then launch Vaio Control Center > Keyboard and Mouse > Device settings and then check either ‘Static icon in taskbar’ or ‘Animated icon in taskbar’. This should place the icon in the system tray
If you are still unable to scroll then under ‘Device settings’ click the ‘Settings’ button and under ‘Virtual Scrolling’ enable the scrolling option.
If none of above has any effect then you may have a driver problem which can be fixed very easily – let us know if you need further guidance on this.
Thx for answer but there is no result.
Still can use touchpad but no scroll. I think that it's problem with drivers. My VAIO is VGN-FW21E. Could You tell me smth more about what to do or from where I can download software/drivers to fix my problem?.
Thank you
Hi djajo,
press the windows key+R to open the Run box type devmgmt.msc and press OK
Click Continue on the User Account Control window.
Expand Mice and Other pointing devices.
Is there a pointing device or PS2 mouse listed..?
Yes there is alps Pointing Device for VAIO. What next?
Can anybody help me :(?
Hi djajo,
