A big Thank You to VAIO CUSTOMER CARE TEAM!

A big thank you to Vaio Customer Support Team for the help provided with regards to the issue that troubled me when I tried to update my FW-41 to Windows 7.

A description of the problem:

"I recently formatted the hard drive of my new Vaio FW-41E/H, after a failed attempt to upgrade from Vista to Win 7 with Sony's Win 7 upgrade discs.
In the process, the hidden partition was lost as well.

Now I have a blank NTFS formatted c partition only, with no operation system, and whenever I try to initiate the recovery process by using my Vista recovery discs, the error message "Copying of the folder failed" appears."

When I contacted Vaio Customer Care, the representative suggested that the problem might be caused by defective disks and offered a new set of recovery disks to be sent for free.
The new disks arrived and the problem is now solved.

Furthermore, Vaio Team called me in my mobile a few days later to make sure that the problem is rectified.
