SInce I bought my new Vaio VPCEH2P0E a few weeks ago, it has been making an annoying clicking noise all the time - the sound is coming from the disk drive (not the speakers, muting doesn't help). Is this a 'feature' of these PCs? If so it is REALLY annoying to the point of making it unusable. Any suggestions?

If it's a rhytmic clicking sound, it should be the hard drive.
I would call the tech support, have them here this and check the warranty.

Thanks have called support and they got me to run a diagnostic which seems to have cleared it.
