AR21M TV usage

On my AR21M, after connecting TV antenna, I don't seem to be able to make the TV active. Using the remote control, I navigate through the Media centre software to TV then try to activate and it says' HARDWARE NOT FITTED or HARDWARE DRIVER NOT INSTALLED' this laptop has these by default! Why can't I make them work?
