AW21S no sound with hdmi connection to HD lcd television

I connected my vaio AW21S with hdmi to my hdtv. I get the normal windows sounds on my hdtv but when I play a blu-ray movie there is no sound on my hdtv. When I play the movie on my vaio not connected to the tv I have normal sound when playing the blu-ray. Can somebody tell me why this is not working?

If you are using any other device driver other than sony it will carry the video but not the audio. You are forced to connect to a stereo using the audio jacks.
