BC-5500H - Searching for Firmware

Hello everyone,

When I burn a DVD (by using the programm CDBurnerXP), the speed of the burning it self seems to be OK. But the problem is the closing / finalizing, which takes around 15 minutes. This can't be the appropriate time for it.

Therefore:

I'm searching the firmware for my BC-5500H, but I can't find it. What I can find is the firmware for BC-5500S. But I think I can't use this one, right? Can anybody help me.

The only hint I have:

On the top, you can see BC-5500S /H --> Does it mean you can use it for S as well as for H? I'm not sure.

Hello,

I bought a used computer VPCEB1C5E 6 months ago. I don't buy it fot the Blueray drive disc just because my old netbook was broken. But, today, I want to try this possibility and I have excatly the same problem. I haven't Sony OEM CDROM (the hard disk was broken and the sailer didn't have burn CDs) and so I want to know if you resolved your problem and how please.
