Black Screen on Sony Vaio ... Help

hello

I turned my sony laptop off last night and it was fine went to turn it on this morning and it now wont come on any ideas whats wrong with it ???  Its 7 months old and i havent dropped it ( screen is fine ). Please help.

Hi Natasha,

Does anything happen when you turn it on?  Any lights?  Any sounds?

One thing to try - Remove the power cord, remove the battery and hold down the power button for 30 seconds.  Reconnect the AC Power and try to start the Vaio.

Can you tell us the full Vaio model from the screen surround.
